What do I need to get started with henna?

Followings are the things which i recommend to get started with henna or mehndi.You can put together your own starter kit, you don't have to buy all the stuffs from the store.
Products I recommend;
henna powder (fresh)
lemon juice (water or tea is fine too)
applicator cone
The following are optional-
carrot bag
essential oil (lavender, cajeput, tea tree)
starter book
